A new line of makeup from Almay, Pure Blends Collection, is made with 95 to 98 percent natural ingredients like açaí, lotus, and orchid extract and is free of parabens and talc (which is carcinogenic when inhaled). Plus, the packaging is made using partly post-consumer recycled materials. Best of all, the makeup (which includes foundation, finishing powder, blush, bronzer, eye shadow, and lip gloss) looks great: The finishing powder blends easily into the skin, the eye shadow imparts a subtle sexy shimmer, and the lip gloss has a wonderful “barely there” tint.
